The back of my room:

I didn't take very many pics of the progress cuz I was hot and grouchy:(((  Going back tomorrow and praying for air conditioning:)  Stay tuned:D

  1. I know how that feels! I had no air conditioning in my room in Florida either! We had it in the building but not in my classroom. I was hot and grouchy after moving stuff around too. But your class already looks good! :) You have such a big room!

  9. I guess I'm not going to complain about all the years I didn't have AC. I teach in an old building but at least each room has it's own window AC.

I have spent about 6 hours in my room and it's just now starting to look like I want it. Every year I change my mind on where I want 'stuff'.

  10. Good Job! My classroom doesn't have air either. Even though I'm in MI not FL it's still gets a little steamy in the room for a month or two out of the year.
I'm excited to find another teacher named Tara. Good luck finding a rug!

  14. Tara, thank you for commenting on my blog! I wrote you a little response on my blog, but I just wanted to stop in and say that I feel your pain on the lack of air-conditioning! They only give us AC from 7-12 two days a week! But, I need more time in my room than that! I hope they crank up the AC for you soon!

  16. Your room looks great! I am moving into a brand-new building, and I have NO IDEA what the classrooms look like, what the layout is, or anything. It appears that we won't even be able to get into the building until the official first day of school (our school gets a week "off" if that is case). I am hoping to get a lot done at home so that I can just "place" things when I can finally get into my room.
