Spark Student Motivation + Giveaway Linky

Happy Saturday!
I am so excited to help 2 of my blogger buddies celebrate 1000 followers!

Head Over Heels for Teaching     4th Gr Flipper

These 2 gals have great blogs, products, and lots of great ideas to share:)  They both have great weekly linkies Fourth Grade Flipper has Tried it Tuesday and Head of Heels for Teaching has Spark Student Motivation.

I am linking up with Joanne for Spark Student Motivation today and donating 2 products to their giveaway:)  This first product I am giving away is what I am linking up with Spark Student Motivation.
I have tried several different things to motivate my kiddos over the years:)  Some worked, some didn't, some got old.  This year, one thing I have started using are tickets from my Take a Ticket, You've Earned It set.
This set includes 21 different "reward" tickets that you can give to your students for just about anything.....good grade, good effort, team work, hard name it:)
It has tickets in color and black and white (to save ink).  It also includes reward certificates that you can fill out and send home to parents!  Who doesn't like to take a good news note home:)
I use these with a clip chart.  I have given each ticket a point value.  They get points for their clip ups and then every 2 weeks they cash in their points.  You can read more about how I do that HERE.  They really love the "no homework pass" ticket as well as the "write with a pen" and "wear sunglasses" tickets.  Lots to choose from and they can be used any way you would like:)
I am also giving away my latest creation Love Letter Math Centers.
We have already been using these to refresh our memories and review after the long Christmas break:)  This differentiated set includes: rounding place value up to the hundred thousands, 2 digit by 1 digit and 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication, single digit multiplication match up, and area and perimeter.

Would you like an chance to win these products?  Just pop over to either one of these great blogs and enter their giveaway:)  Have a great weekend everyone!!

  2. Love the tickets! Our whole school switched to clip charts and I've had a hard time with how to manage rewards! I think I missed your original post about this so I'm going to go back and read that one and it might help me better manage it!! Your tickets are so cute!! And those centers will be perfect for my 4th graders! I hope I win! ;O)
    Have a great weekend!

  8. I have a question. I want to use the coupons and I have purchased the Behavior Beads to go with the clip chart. I wondered what kind of "prices" you have for the coupons. Do you have recommendations that have worked for you in your classroom?

    1. I put a point value on the tickets....I grouped them in sets of 3 (except for the last set I think) then started with 5 points and went up in increments of 5 until I got to the last set. Getting a new behavior bead is one of the coupon prizes...that one is the most "expensive"....I have a clip chart monitor that writes down everyone points at the end of the day....every 2 weeks they can cash in their points and pick a coupon. Does that help?

  9. Its pleasure to read such great post.
